You all are so very good at sifting through things and making logical conclusions, I wondered what your thoughts were on this case.

To me, this case is like three jigsaw puzzles of similar scenes all jumbled together in the same box. The pieces just never seem to fit together to form a clear picture.
The location of JonBenet's room and the location where her body was found make an intruder scenario unlikely and hard to believe.
The Ramseys' odd behavior when JonBenet was discovered missing make them seem suspicious.
The odd ransom note that was at one time allegedly linked to the brother make him suspicious.
Like the Lindbergh kidnapping in the 30s, I think this is one of those cases where we're never going to definitively know what happened and who killed JonBenet.
Sorry!

The parents always struck me as behaving oddly if innocent. I figure a parent would want the guilty party punished more then anything else and would be willing to endure anything they had to in order to achieve that outcome. Seems to me the Ramsey's first concern was protecting themselves, not finding the killer of their daughter. Even if they thought the police were gunning for them, I would have thought they would endure the questions and suspicion until they proved themselves innocent forcing the police to look elsewhere until they received justice for JonBenet.

You're exactly right. The Ramseys' behavior was odd at best and downright uncooperative at worst. It's such a strange case, but I don't think anyone will ever know what really happened to that little girl.
What did you think about Mark Karr, or whatever his name was? I thought he was goofy as the day as the day is long.

I thought he was goofy as the day as the day is long. Bringing him back to the US was a huge waste of time and money. He could of and should of been ruled out long before. It doesn't really seem like even they actually thought he did it, he seemed more like a sacrificial lamb to appease the public. People want someone to blame so they looked for someone, no matter how unlikely.

After having watched a couple of episodes of "Toddlers and Tiaras," I think the relationships between the mothers and daughters involved in this is very abnormal. The mothers seem to feel the outcome of the pageant is a reflection of the mothers' success. Her ability to train, dress, style, and actually, the physical looks all seem to be tied to the mother. I don't think involvement in pageants makes Patsy a killer but I do think it adds another dimension to the relationship between mother and daughter that I think should have been carefully looked at. I can see where a lot of tension could have been simmering under the surface for some time.

I have always suspected Patsy was covering for Burke. It is the only thing that makes any sense.

I am more leaning to a horrible accident between mother and daughter that was attempted to be covered up by both parents. And I am not sure the police were as inept as they appeared. I think money buys a lot.

I feel like if it was, she would have called for help. I don't know. I think it was definitely an accident. Seems like something young boys might do. Not realizing.

Does anyone think the case will ever be solved without a confession?
