My first post. Please be patient if I am not doing it right. This case has come up every so often over the years usually with some goofy statement by the boat driver. I am satisfied with Robert Wagners version of events but the LAPD actually reopening the case is very strange. I don't know anything yet but I have a feeling that in connection with the 30th anniversary and the boat drivers "book" what we are going to have is an examination by an "expert"(possibly one we are already familiar with from the wm3) of the autopsy photos and etc. It should be a fascinating load of garbage. I should have put this first. I do not know much about this board. I have just read some of KMA's posts elsewhere and he seems very logic oriented so I joined mostly to keep up with anything new in the wm3 case. Although that is likely just waiting for one of them to re-offend. I am a passionate "non". I only go back about two years so I cant follow some of the drama on the boards but I am pretty darn well read on the wm3 now.

Welcome, Generaltsao, but there are a few things about your statements that have left me a bit suspicious, given the propensity for supporters to play games regarding this case.
First and foremost is your misidentification of the agency. The case was originally investigated by the LA County Sheriff's office. Granted, even the media have misidentified the agency as LAPD, but that's a bit suspicious.
Second, the "boat driver" is definitely the wrong terminology to apply to the captain of a yacht.
Third, as you can see, this board doesn't have a lot of activity, so it's not really the resource to "keep up" with the WM3 case.

You are correct I see. It is the county investigating. Not sure this guy really qualifies as a captain but ok fair enough. I can see the board does not have a lot of recent activity so I guess you are right about that too.
No games. I do not even care about the Natalie woods case. I read about it in the past. I am satisfied what can be known is known. I do think the unamed information is going to be a paid for experts opinion. Just a hunch but the news outlets keep talking about the bruises on Natalies body. I ahve a feeling it is going to be related to turtles. We will know soon. The only other board I have belonged to is the hoax. You can find me over their if you really care. I think you will see I am a non anyway. Take care.

If the captain of the yacht (that is the title he held at the time of the accident according to the media reports) is writing and selling a book, then it's likely that the LACSO won't find his new version of the facts to be credible. He's also admitted, I believe, that he lied during the original investigation.
As I understand it, he's now saying that Wagner didn't bother looking for Woods when they realized she was not on the vessel. That is actually contradicted by the original investigator, who detailed Wagner's efforts to locate Woods when he discovered that she wasn't on the vessel and the Zodiac was missing.
As for my skepticism, I was simply being honest with you, since I've been around the boards for a long time and have seen a lot of twisted stuff done. I applaud you for not taking it personally.
